CheckSix ("the service") is operated by Xon Designs LLC. This privacy policy explains how CheckSix handles your data.

The short version: CheckSix stores your data locally in your browser. We collect only the minimum account information needed to provide the service.

• Password (stored as a secure hash; we never store plaintext passwords)

Application Data (stored locally in your browser):

• Pilot profile information (classification, years of service, equipment type)
• Flight data entries (flights, deadheads, reserve, time off)
• Pay calculations and bid period records
• Paycheck comparison amounts

Flight data and pay calculations are stored in your browser's localStorage and are not transmitted to our servers.

How We Use Your Data

• Account information is used solely to authenticate you and provide the service.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes.
• We may send you service-related communications (e.g., password reset, critical security notices).

Data Storage & Security

• Account data: Stored securely on our servers with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+).
• Application data: Stored locally in your browser. Not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly use a sync or backup feature.
• Passwords: Hashed using bcrypt. We never store or have access to your plaintext password.

Third-Party Services

CheckSix does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not embed social media widgets, pixels, or fingerprinting scripts.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Export: Export your locally stored application data at any time from within the service.

Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days. Locally stored browser data is under your control and can be cleared at any time.

CheckSix is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
